Major drug dealing outfit busted: DA

Law enforcement has dismantled a major drug dealing operation in Jackson Heights and indicted 16 people following a long-term investigation, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz reported Dec. 17 in a joint announcement with NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch and Homeland Security Investigations’ Special Agent in Charge for New York Ricky Patel.

Cocaine, fentanyl, crystal meth, Percocet and other drugs were sold openly on 93rd Street near 35th Avenue, Katz said. The investigation included undercover buys and electronic surveillance.

Thirteen defendants were arraigned Dec. 16, the DA said; one will be arraigned at a future date and two were at large. Three of them were charged as major traffickers…
