State of Emergency declared in NY: Gov. Hochul

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Gov. Kathy Hochul took to X to announce a State of Emergency for counties impacted by the winter storm.

A travel advisory has been issued in New York City as a winter storm is expected to dump up to 10 inches of snow across the tri-state area on Friday.

The city’s winter weather response plan has also been activated for Friday night through Saturday, according to New York City Emergency Management.
