STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — New York City runs on Dunkin’.
According to the findings of a new regionalized retail study, the coffee and doughnut chain is a fan fave in the Big Apple and is considered the retailer with the most stores in every borough — including Staten Island.
“This year, Dunkin’ overtook Starbucks for the #1 spot as Manhattan’s top retailer, with 169 locations,” noted the findings from Center for an Urban Future, which produces this type of data each year. “Dunkin’ is now the top retailer in every borough, with 189 locations in Queens, 169 locations in Manhattan, 134 locations in Brooklyn, 91 locations in the Bronx, and 40 locations in Staten Island.”…
