A 16-year-old boy is facing charges in a shooting that left a 17-year-old boy dead Friday night in Sayreville, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO).
Officials say it happened before 11 p.m. in Woods Edge Court in the Parlin section of the borough. They said the two knew each other, which means the shooting was not a random act of violence.
