Staten Island, NY – A suspected illegal smoke shop in Staten Island was shut down this week after authorities seized more than 17 pounds of cannabis and hallucinogenic mushrooms, following community complaints about unlawful sales.
According to the NYC Sheriff’s Office, members of the Sheriff Joint Compliance Task Force (SJCTF) executed a search warrant at a location in the Stapleton section of Staten Island that was allegedly operating as a smoke shop while illegally selling cannabis products.
