Hit-and-run driver crashes into Tottenville house during snowstorm, homeowner says

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Tottenville homeowner said a vehicle crashed into his house on Arthur Kill Road during Saturday’s snowfall, with FDNY officials gathering at the scene to assess the damages.

Martin Oblites told the Advance/SILive.com he was at home when he heard what sounded like a bomb go off around 2:15 p.m.

“I went into my mother-in-law’s room to check and the wall was caving in and the dresser was in the middle of the room,” he said…
