NYPD seeks individual for questioning in $8,000 debit card theft on Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted for questioning in connection to an incident of grand larceny that occurred in Great Kills and Huguenot late last month.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m. an unidentified woman entered a TD Bank branch at 4401 Amboy Road and allegedly utilized a 23-year-old male victim’s debit card to remove $3,800 from his account without permission, according to a written statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.

At around 4:20 p.m. the same day, the woman entered a second TD Bank branch at 929 Huguenot Ave. where she allegedly removed $4,200 from the same victim’s account, police said.
