STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Floor & Décor — a warehouse-format specialty retailer that offers an in-stock selection of tile, wood, stone and other flooring accessories — will open its first Staten Island store later this month.
Located at 98 Richmond Hill Rd., the store, which has been under construction for six months, will fill the freestanding space formerly occupied by Macy’s Furniture Gallery in New Springville. According to signage posted on the store’s doors, the grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26.
“The Floor & Decor brand is bolstered by a local focus that allows us to create a store experience and mix of products that meet the needs of each market we serve,” the company noted on its website. “We empower our store managers, or chief executive merchants, to create a local shopping experience.”…
