STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Public school students are waiting on Mayor Zohran Mamdani Saturday to know whether they’ll be home from school ahead of the coming winter storm.
Mamdani has yet to announce whether the city will close public schools for a virtual learning day or traditional snow day ahead of the storm that could bring more than a foot of snow to the five boroughs.
