NYC takes action on Staten Island, targets illegal signs, shipping containers, RVs

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The New York City Department of Buildings announced on Wednesday three recent enforcement actions it has taken against Staten Island property owners.

The local enforcement actions include the towing of an illegally-parked recreational vehicle, fines for illegal signage in Charleston, and the removal of 42 shipping containers from a commercial property in Mariners Harbor, according to the Buildings Department.
