STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — For Andrew Dice Clay, Friday night’s show at the St. George Theatre isn’t just another tour stop.
“It’s fun to come back to Staten Island,” Clay, 68, told the Advance/SILive.com by phone before a show in Austin, Texas. “A lot of people don’t know — I grew up there. Between 7 and 12 years old, I lived in Staten Island.”
The leather-clad comic — the first stand-up to consistently headline arenas — will co-headline a performance on Friday, March 6, with “Saturday Night Live” alum Jon Lovitz, known for standout roles in “A League of Their Own” and “The Wedding Singer.”…
