STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Sidewalks along Hylan Boulevard near St. Joseph by the Sea High School remained buried in snow for nearly a week after the latest storm, leaving children and pedestrians forced to navigate busy streets.
A Staten Island resident, who first reached out on Feb. 24, said snow remained uncleared along Hylan Boulevard from Bertram to Philip avenues, and along Philip Avenue from Hylan Boulevard to Lynch Street — nearly a week after the most recent storm and several weeks after earlier snowfall.
