New Staten Island craft beer supports veterans, students and families with every can sold

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The North Shore Rotary Club will launch its first craft beer Thursday in a collaboration with Kills Boro Brewing Co. aimed at raising money for local service programs.

The pilsner, called Good Deeds Brew, will debut March 19 at 7 p.m. at the Livingston brewery. Proceeds from every can will directly support the club’s Staten Island initiatives, with a portion of each purchase benefiting the North Shore Rotary Foundation.

“Good Deeds Brew isn’t just a beer. It’s a way to give back,” said Frank Wilkinson of Rab’s Country Lanes in Dongan Hills. “This collaboration with Kills Boro Brewing Company is part of a larger public-image campaign for the North Shore Rotary Club, showing our community what’s possible when people who care about Staten Island work together for good.”
