STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are investigating an unprovoked attack in Pleasant Plains on Saturday night that left a longtime resident with minor injuries, according to an NYPD spokesperson and the victim.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., when the 36-year-old resident stepped outside his home near Amboy Road to take out the trash and was approached by an unidentified individual. The suspect punched him multiple times in the face, police said.
