STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Circus Vazquez will make its Staten Island debut next week, setting up its blue and white tent at the Staten Island Mall in New Springville for an 11-day run from March 27 through April 6.
The show features an international all-human cast and is billed as the largest family-owned big top circus in the United States. The company has been operating for more than 50 years.
While the circus’s smaller production, Flip Circus, has visited Staten Island in recent years, this marks the first time the larger Circus Vazquez will perform in the borough.
The tent is one of the largest traveling tents in the country. It will go up at the Mall on March 25.
Performances will run nightly at 7 p.m., with additional shows at 1 and 4 p.m. on weekends…
