A two-alarm fire broke out around 8 p.m. Thursday on the 1200 block of Bay Street near Scarboro Avenue in Staten Island’s Rosebank neighborhood. The blaze started in a three-story building that houses Glitter Nail Salon on the first floor and drew a large FDNY response.
Several nearby streets were closed to traffic as firefighters worked to contain the flames, and officials urged drivers to avoid the area. The Red Cross was also on scene to assist. As of 9 p.m., it wasn’t clear if anyone was injured…
