STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — New York City will once again host Car-Free Earth Day festivities throughout the five boroughs this month to encourage the use of sustainable transportation options.
On Staten Island, a section of Port Richmond Avenue will be closed to all vehicle traffic on Saturday, April 25, opening the road for pedestrians to enjoy art, music and other educational activities.
