A GoFundMe for a Rahway Police officer, his wife and their 10-month-old daughter who lost their home in a fire Saturday was more than half-way to its goal in less than 24 hours.
Howell Township Police responded to the Dutch Valley Road home at about 1:53 p.m. and saw black smoke and swirling flames coming from the back of the two-story bi-level, according to a press release from Howell Township police.
The officer, his wife who is a nurse, their daughter and their dog had already escaped and were uninjured when first responders arrived, police said…
