STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Island is not receiving its fair share of the $12 million in opioid settlement funds that Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced would be distributed citywide, according to District Attorney Michael E. McMahon.
The district attorney’s message to City Hall and the legislators in Albany is, “Show us the money because Staten Island needs it to save lives.”
