STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Richmond University Medical Center has tapped Dr. Aaron Gottesman to lead its new geriatric care program as the hospital responds to Staten Island’s rapidly growing senior population.
Gottesman, appointed as medical director of geriatric primary care, will oversee RUMC’s multidisciplinary Gerontology Institute based at the New Springville Center for Family Health and Specialty Services at the Staten Island Mall. The program targets adults 65 and older who face chronic conditions, mobility changes and evolving social needs.
