School Board to Vote on Dozens of Teacher Transfers, Contract Renewals

At its May meeting Thursday night, the Jersey City Board of Education will vote on whether to approve 55 transfers of Jersey City Public Schools teachers, many from non-classroom to classroom roles. It will also vote on renewing its contracts with nearly three dozen vendors for next school year, and recognize the district students who earned associate degrees this week.
