Modesto gang member indicted by federal grand jury for being a felon in possession of ammunition

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The United States Department of Justice says that a federal grand jury on Thursday returned an indictment charging a Modesto man with being a felon in possession of ammunition.

According to the Department of Justice, 28-year-old Bendrelle Williams of Modesto was found to be in possession of an assault-style rifle loaded with 50 rounds of 5.56 ammunition on May 17, 2026.
