Modesto man made a fortune selling drugs on dark web. Now he’s going to prison

(FOX40.COM) — A Modesto man who made hundreds of thousands of dollars selling fentanyl-laced counterfeit drugs on the dark web was sentenced to prison.

37-year-old Devlin Hosner was sentenced to 10 years in prison for conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California announced Tuesday.

Prosecutors said Hosner and 36-year-old Holly Adams sold fentanyl-laced oxycodone pills and meth on the dark web, generating hundreds of thousands of dollars. The money was then laundered through cryptocurrency mixers, wallets, and other online tools…
