(FOX40.COM) — A Lodi man was arrested Thursday morning after allegedly leading Placer County deputies on a short pursuit.
According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, around 11 a.m., deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle near Industrial Avenue and Athens Avenue. The sheriff’s office did not say why deputies initiated the stop.
Instead of pulling over, the driver, 35-year-old Tommy Villarreal, led deputies on a chase down Industrial Avenue, during which he drove across a parking lot and over several medians, the sheriff’s office said…
