A bag of vegetables can be the beginning of dinner. At a community farm, it can also be the beginning of a conversation—about what grows here, how to cook it and who gets to share in the harvest.
That connection is at the heart of Edible Schoolyard Stockton’s Fall Fest on the Block, scheduled for Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Community Farm, 466 S. Ventura Avenue.
The organizer’s public calendar calls it the farm’s last festival of 2026. For Stockton families, it is a chance to spend part of a fall Saturday in a place where food, learning and neighborhood life meet.
