( KRON ) — As the two-year anniversary of the passing of Alexis Gabe approaches, her father is calling on people to engage in “random acts of kindness” to celebrate her memory. Jan. 26 will mark the second anniversary of Gabe’s death.
On that day, which the family has declared “Kindness Day,” the Gabes are inviting people to celebrate her menu.
“Over the past couple of years, we have experienced numerous challenges, and this has been one of the toughest,” said Gwyn Gabe in a statement. “However, we don’t want to commemorate this somber occasion every year in the same way.”
“This year, we have made the decision to make it unique, and we would greatly appreciate your assistance in making it happen” Gwyn said.

“We sincerely request everyone’s participation,” he continued. “Whether it involves buying a cup of coffee for someone, holding the door open for a stranger, providing food for the homeless, or donating to a charity of your choice, every act, regardless of its magnitude matters.
