BUTTE COUNTY, CALIF. – The Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) says they’ve been able to arrest an Oroville man suspected of murder. 54-year-old Joseph Perkins was named the prime suspect in a homicide that happened on Saturday, April 20, in the the 500 block of Lodgeview Drive. Perkins had reportedly shot a man in the area before driving away. His suspected vehicle was later found, unoccupied, in the Kelly Ridge area.
