Several Northern California agencies respond to woman who crashed motorcycle in forest

(FOX40.COM) — A woman in her 50s sustained several injuries after she crashed her motorcycle into a forest area in El Dorado County.

Around 3 p.m. on Saturday, the El Dorado County Fire Protection District , CAL FIRE Amador-El Dorado Unit , and the U.S. Forest Service – Eldorado National Forest responded to a woman in her fifties who had crashed her motorcycle on a dirt forest road off Mormon Emigrant Trail. Officials said the woman was riding with a group of about 20 people, several of whom rendered aid until first responders arrived.

The woman sustained multiple injuries and required CPR and a blood transfusion from paramedics. She was airlifted to a Sacramento area trauma center. She remains in critical but stable condition.
