NORTHSTATE, Calif. – With rain expected in the Northstate starting Aug. 23, there’s a chance for flooding, especially in areas that were recently hit with wildfires. Michael Friend, a public information officer assigned to the Park Fire, told us a low pressure system moving in from the north has led to a flood watch being in place in the burn scar area, which is not as severe as a flood warning.
