Six figures worth of stolen farm equipment recovered in San Joaquin County

(FOX40.COM) — Several hundred thousand dollars worth of farm equipment was recovered by deputies with the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, according to the California Rural Crime Prevention Task Force.

Deputies spotted the large John Deere tractor with a trailer in tow while it was making its way down one of the county’s rural roadways.

The tractor was found to have been stolen and was recovered without any damage. It was later returned to the owner with the help of agriculture detectives.

Evaluators estimate the total value of the stolen property to be around $400,000.
