San Joaquin Delta College to host 47th annual College Night for students, parents

San Joaquin Delta College is hosting its 47th annual College Night on Wednesday.

College Night is an opportunity to learn about the advantages of attending Delta College and four-year universities, according to school officials.

“College Night gives students a chance to gain insight into the many options available to them,” said Chris Frymire, manager of the Delta Connect Center, a centralized student support center that serves as a starting point to critical support services for students.

“We’ll also take the opportunity to remind them that Delta College itself is an excellent and affordable option, with dozens of career education programs and transfer pathways to choose from, and free tuition for first-time, full-time college students,” Frymire said.

From 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in Atheron Auditorium, current high school students, Delta College students, and parents can learn about different majors and careers, and how to complete transfer requirements at Delta College while earning an associate’s degree.
