MODESTO, Calif. – The Modesto Police Department has made an arrest Friday evening in connection with the shooting death of a Modesto man early Friday morning. Police say 43-year-old Edward McCullen was arrested following the death of 43-year-old Jose Valdez. According to police, officers responded just after 12 a.m. to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of Citi Auto Sales, located in the 900 block of McHenry Avenue.
