After a Lodi woman’s life was cut tragically short by a fentanyl overdose, a mom has found new purpose in educating youth about the dangers of drugs

A small tree is growing at Henry Glaves Park, planted there last year in honor of a Lodi resident who died from a fentanyl overdose.

The tree, planted on the Oxford Way side of the park, stands behind a plaque mounted on a cement base that bears the words “Emily’s Tree.”
