STANISLAUS COUNTY, Calif. – Another person has drowned at Modesto Reservoir on Saturday, making this Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office’s tenth drowning of the year. Sheriff deputies said they responded to a reported drowning near San Jose Island at Modesto Reservoir at about 11 a.m. The man was found unresponsive in the water at about 11:30 a.m. CPR was performed on the man by paramedics, however, he was pronounced dead at 12 p.m.
