The Record’s Family Day at the Park returns to Weber Point Events Center Saturday

The Weber Point Events Center will be transforming on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 221 N. Center St. for The Record’s 27th Annual Family Day at the Park.

“The Record’s signature event, Family Day at the Park provides a full day of fun and educational activities for the entire community,” Anna Sass, general manager for SASS! Public Relations, Inc. stated in a news release.

The event is presented by the Health Plan of San Joaquin. It starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.

This is a free event open to the community with a mascot parade starting at 10:15 a.m. (everyone is welcome to join), published authors at the King Author’s Court and storytelling, live music and games for children.

“Nearly 100 businesses and community organizations will provide interactive projects for children and families, including arts and crafts, games, storytelling and recreational activities,” the news release states. “Entertainers include mascots, street performers, Sparkles the Clown and Ravioli the Magician.”
