ANTIOCH, Calif. (KRON) — Antioch police are actively investigating the shooting of an 18-year-old man Friday afternoon.
Officers responded to the area of Cavallo Road and Sunset Drive at 12:27 p.m. for a report of gunfire.
When they arrived at the scene, officers located the victim “suffering from at least one gunshot wound.” Police said they attempted first aid on the victim until medics arrived. He was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the investigation in its early stages.
