A recent shooting in Antioch has led to the arrest of a suspect, details of which emerged from an official press release from the Antioch Police Department. The incident took place on Sunday, behind a Rite Aid on A Street, where two individuals sustained gunshot wounds. Officers at the scene gave the victims, one male and one female, first aid and then transported them to a local hospital. According to the press release, the female’s injuries were serious but non-life-threatening, while the male victim suffered from life-threatening injuries, though both are expected to recover.
