Health officials warn of severe smoke impacts in Northern California due to the Shoe Fire

NORTHSTATE, Calif. – Shasta County and Tehama County officials reported poor air quality on Monday, Oct. 14, due to the Shoe Fire. For Tehama County, officials issued an Air Quality Advisory due to wildfire smoke coming from the Shoe Fire burning in Shasta County. They said that conditions throughout Tehama County vary from”Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups” to “Hazardous”.
