(FOX40.COM) — Here are the latest results for the 2024 General Election in Stockton. Along with voting for several school boards and measures, voters made their choices for mayor and city council members for districts 2, 4 and 6.
Stockton Mayor
• Christina Fugazi was a member of the Stockton City Council who represented District 5. She took office on Jan. 5, 2015, and left on Dec. 31, 2022. She describes herself as an educator and public servant and said she is running for mayor to solve Stockton’s toughest problems.
• Tom Patti is a member of the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors who represents District 3. He took office in 2017 and his term ends on January 6, 2025. He describes himself as a man of action.
Stockton City Council District 2
• Mariela Ponce is a political newcomer. She advanced from the primary on March 5.
• Waqar Rizvi chairs the Stockton Planning Commission and said he is running for city council to make the streets safer, the government more effective, and the economy more competitive.
