(FOX40.COM) — A 22-year-old woman was fatally shot in Stockton on Saturday night, according to the Stockton Police Department.
Around 10:30 p.m., SPD responded to the 1700 Block of West Fremont Street in the Civic District. Officers found the victim who was taken to a local hospital. There, she died from her injuries.

The circumstances behind the shooting are under investigation, however, a suspect has not been arrested.
