Man arrested after allegedly kicking in residential door, entering gas station with hand gun in Antioch

(FOX40.COM) — A man was arrested following a string of incidents police believe were connected in Antioch Monday evening.

The Antioch Police Department said it received multiple reports of gunshots near Larkspur Drive. and Wildflower Drive.

Around 3:52 a.m., a man kicked in the door to a home on Lupine Court but left when confronted, police said. When officers arrived at the home, they were unable to find the man.

Later a gas station clerk called police after a man entered his store with a gun.

According to police, officers arrived at the gas station and chased on foot.

Police said they arrested the man and found a pistol nearby which they determined was reported stolen in the suspect’s hometown.

Police believe the man to be connected to all three incidents.
