Ex-Antioch police officer Eric Rombough pleads guilty

(KRON) — A former Antioch Police Department officer who allegedly collected “trophies” from crime scenes to display on his home mantle pleaded guilty this week as part of a plea deal.

Ex-APD police officer Eric Rombough pleaded guilty to conspiracy and deprivation of rights under color of law, federal court documents state.

Rombough was one of 10 current and former Antioch and Pittsburg police officers who were simultaneously arrested in an FBI raid during the summer of 2023. Rombough and two of his fellow APD officers — Morteza Amiri, and Devon Christopher Wenger — were accused of committing “a disturbing litany of civil rights violations” and using excessive force, U.S. Attorney Ismail Ramsey said…
