Modesto fire crew pulls overturned vehicle from river bottom

(FOX40.COM) — The Modesto Police Department pulled an overturned vehicle from the river in Stanislaus County on Friday night.

Around 6:49 p.m. on Friday, Modesto’s Quint 22, Engine 23, WR21, WR2, and Battalion 2 responded to a report of a vehicle that went into the river around Parker Road and Church Street.

Upon arrival at the scene, crews found one vehicle upside down in the river bottom. One occupant had self-extricated from the vehicle. according to Modesto Fire. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Doctors Medical Center with minor injuries…
