(FOX40.COM) — A man accused of driving recklessly on a stolen motorcycle was arrested after he led police on a chase, according to the California Highway Patrol.
On Monday afternoon, CHP responded to several phone calls about a reckless driver on a motorcycle in Modesto. When officers arrived in the area, they said a motorcyclist on a stolen 2003 Yamaha bike led them on a pursuit northbound on Highway 99 in Stanislaus County. After a while, he laid the stolen motorcycle down and fled on foot, according to CHP.
