Study finds California’s least healthiest city: high rates of obesity, struggles among residents

San Bernardino, CA – A recent study has named San Bernardino the least healthy city in California, ranking it 19th among the most unhealthy cities in the United States.

According to Quote.com, San Bernardino faces higher rates of obesity, heart disease, cancer, and diabetes than most cities nationwide. While this doesn’t mean all residents are unhealthy, the city’s overall health struggles outpace other California metropolises.

The study, using data from the CDC and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s 500 Cities Project, analyzed 28 weighted factors, including preventive care, health insurance coverage, and chronic disease prevalence. A panel of 12 medical experts helped identify key health metrics.
