STOCKTON, Calif. — The Asparagus Festival is getting ready to celebrate its 39th year in Stockton — and in a big way.
“We’re expecting the biggest year because we’re expecting a large amount of asparagus… and we’re expecting a lot of entertainment, where we want to make sure this is the big one, biggest one ever,” said Alan Sanchez, spokesperson for the Asparagus Festival.
Tens of thousands will be flocking to Stockton to once again enjoy the monster trucks, live music and, of course, the asparagus — either deep fried or as an ice cream. Here’s what to know.
