DMT lab uncovered at Livermore residence, police say

( KRON ) — Three Livermore residents were arrested after police discovered a DMT drug lab in their garage, authorities announced Thursday.

In March, the Livermore Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit was investigating possible drug sales occurring at a home in the 700 block of Wagoner Drive. A search warrant for the residence was granted after continuing surveillance and follow-up investigations.

The search warrant was served on April 10 for suspected methamphetamine sales. Officers located a lab used to create DMT, or dimethyltryptamine, inside the garage, Livermore PD said.

“DMT is an illegal hallucinogenic drug classified as a Schedule I controlled substance,” according to authorities…
