2 houses, 1 outbuilding damaged in Manteca fire

MANTECA, Calif. — A firefighter was taken to a hospital, and two houses were damaged after a fire in Manteca Monday afternoon.

According to the Manteca Fire Department, the 3-alarm blaze happened in the area of Willow Avenue and Oak Street around 3:30 p.m. 2 houses were damaged along with an outbuilding, Manteca Police Department told ABC10 in an update.

Police said it’s unclear whether anyone is still inside or injured since they aren’t able to access one of the houses, but one of the houses was vacant. However, police did say a firefighter was taken to a hospital due to heat exhaustion…
