With Memorial Day weekend approaching, Caltrans District 2 is urging travelers to plan ahead as ongoing road construction and emergency repairs may cause delays throughout Northern California.
The advisory covers Shasta, Siskiyou, Plumas, Lassen, and Tehama Counties, where long-term work zones and temporary closures may impact travel. Although most Caltrans crews will pause operations over the holiday, road work is set to resume Wednesday, May 28.
