According to CCSO, deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of Hoffman Drive in Valley Springs around 8:30 a.m. When crews arrived a the scene, they were advised that the homeowner, Frank Anthony Moore, 75, of Valley Springs, was not pleased with the yard maintenance service provided by a worker.
CCSO stated that this led to a verbal dispute. The altercation escalated when the victim, who is the worker, requested payment for his service.
