Valley Springs man arrested after yard work dispute leads to gunfire

According to CCSO, deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of Hoffman Drive in Valley Springs around 8:30 a.m. When crews arrived a the scene, they were advised that the homeowner, Frank Anthony Moore, 75, of Valley Springs, was not pleased with the yard maintenance service provided by a worker.

CCSO stated that this led to a verbal dispute. The altercation escalated when the victim, who is the worker, requested payment for his service. During the confirmation, Moore, who is the suspect, reportedly got his firearm from inside the house and returned outside, discharging more than one round in the direction of the victim…
